The "elevator spring clutch" is a product developed for holding units that perform lifting and lowering actions, such as indoor clothes drying racks, air conditioning grills, and hanging lights. By controlling the tightening force of the coil spring and switching the transmission and interruption of power, self-locking during lifting and lowering actions can be achieved in a compact and low-cost manner. Reverse input (gravity) from the output shaft is locked, and torque is not transmitted to the input shaft.
